Job Summary

• R.N. Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3-5 years recent Intensive Care nursing experience or successful completion of a recognized intensive care course within the last two years required
• Recent Critical Care experience required
• Must have at least one year acute medical/surgical experience
• BCLS required, ACLS preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• CC1 or Critical Care introductory course necessary
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated skills in Adult Education principles
• Safety awareness
• Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
• Analysis / problem assessment
• Innovative and willing to learn
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Demonstrates individual leadership skills
• Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy #HA30 and Procedure #HA35.


New employees hired after January 1, 2019 into specific designated roles will be eligible for the Bonus Incentive payment of up to $4000.00 payable at established intervals over the course of the first 2 years of continuous active employment.
