Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Strategy in the Office of Strategy Management (OSM), the Strategy Analyst will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Southlake Regional Health Centre’s 2019 - 2024 Strategic Plan. The Strategy Analyst will focus on supporting the execution of our performance management framework and reporting across the organization. Duties will include the implementation of new tools and reporting templates, new reporting processes, data collection, synthesis and analysis, and development of communication and visual summaries of performance data for presentation to internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will also be responsible for supporting strategic projects as required by the OSM. This role will primarily support the OSM and Southlake’s Senior Leadership Team, however the Strategy Analyst will also interact with clinical, operational and physician leaders.


• Support the OSM team in the development and implementation of the performance management framework and reporting processes across the organization
• Develop tools and templates to track data and report on performance
• Collect and collate data from multiple sources as part of our performance management monitoring and reporting processes
• Develop tools and templates to support project management best practices to support strategic projects
• Support the development of communication and presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with managers who are responsible for projects, and other hospital staff to effectively complete assignments
• Support project management of strategic projects as required (may be asked to work independently to support small projects)
• During critical times of any process/project implementation, may be required to work off-hours and/or non-business hours


• Completion of a recognized university degree required
• Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare experience preferred
• Experience using experience using data and analysis to create compelling presentations and business cases
• Proven ability to interpret, summarize and communicate performance data to internal and external stakeholders
• Sound organizational, documentation and planning skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet conflicting deadlines are essential
• Advanced proficiency MS Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint
• Outstanding interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to build strong relationships, gain credibility and network effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients and partners
• Knowledge of project management principles and processes an asset
• Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to Southlake Regional Health Centre standards.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated problem assessment skills
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Demonstrated individual leadership skills
• Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy #HA30 and Procedure #HA35
