Job Summary

The Regional Cardiac Care Co-ordinator’s (RCCC) three main responsibilities are:
• To provide timely access to cardiac services: Interventional and Diagnostic Angiogram
• To maintain and provide surveillance of the Cardiac Care Network (CCN) database, as well as the provision of statistical data related to access and volumes.
• To act as a liaison in providing assistance, education and support for patient and their families while waiting on the respective waiting list.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Minimum of five years’ experience in cardiac care
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Cath Lab preferred
• CCCN
• Administrative and computer skills
• Experience in work processing, spreadsheet, and database applications preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills required, with a high level of verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
• Analysis / problem assessment
• Innovative and willing to learn
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Demonstrates individual leadership skills
