Job Summary

• BScN
• RN Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Coronary 1 and 2 or equivalent Required
• BCLS current certification, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years recent cardiac nursing experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac care management
• Knowledge of recovery of pt. following conscious sedation
• Responsible for outpatient admission, medication delivery of conscious sedation as well as recovery of invasive procedures (TEE/Dobutamine stress echo/Persantine stress echo)
• Analysis/problem assessment.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Innovative and willing to learn.
• Individual leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Provides clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
