Job Summary

• High school graduate, minimum grade 12
• Diploma in Medical Office Administration is preferred
• A minimum of two year previous clerical experience
• Experience with patient registration and patient appointments
• Experience in collection of data and preparation of statistical reports
• Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with HBOC System, PHS, STAR, HPF, HOM
• Demonstrated medical terminology skills
• Typing and keyboarding skills of 50 words per minute
• Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
• Analysis / problem solving skills
• Innovative and willing to learn
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
